Living With Loss
The Fargo VA Health Care System has a Living with Loss: Bereavement Support Group. Veterans, friends and family members, can attend. There is no cost to attend.
The Support Group is held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 5:30PM to 7PM in Room 1C-86. This meeting room is easy to find at the Fargo VA. The address to the VA is, 2101 Elm Street North, Fargo, North Dakota. Use the Front Entrance on the North Side of the VA. The room is to the right once inside. Generally, there is a greeter at the front entrance to assist visitors and attendees find where they are going at the VA. Some of the Topics of Discussion will include: Defining grief, and sharing common reactions to loss, Looking at coping methods, and Honoring memories. The Group is intended for anyone who is dealing with the death of a loved one. This is an opportunity for Veterans and their friends and family members to connect with, share and support one another as they process loss.
